Some Weekday Glitter Featuring the New Shiseido Synchro Skin Foundation - Makeup and Beauty Blog

The other day I was having java with a few girlfriends — probably the Best time to get makeup inspiration — and I vicious in honey with one of my friends' pretty glittery eyeliner. I tried information technology out myself and found it to be an awesome way to pull off a little glitter during the day. I call it a "weekday glitter" look, and I hope you'll exist into it as much as I've been!
Ane of the cardinal components to this look is nice and fifty-fifty skin tone. I used the new Shiseido Synchro Skin Foundation ($45 for 1oz) in a custom mixture of Golden 2 and Neutral iii. The foundation comes in Aureate, Neutral, and Rose undertones ranging between 1 and 5. For some reason, the range isn't complete, but we will probably discover more colors coming with demand.
Hither's an eerily shut capture of my skin. 🙂 As y'all can run across, it enhanced texture in certain areas, but it looked better and better every bit the day went on. In fact, it'south super long-lasting like the name suggests! It didn't experience oil-free though, and I had to really piece of work the foundation in with a good buffing castor to make whatever texture and streaks disappear. On to the fun part! I used a warm brown matte eyeshadow to enhance my petite eyelids (my all-time tip for opening upwards the eyes) and drew a thick black line with gel eyeliner. I grabbed the MAC Amberluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Palette ($32) and patted it all over the liner. This is a handy lilliputian palette for the serious glitter fans. In that location's a squeamish range of colors with some astonishing texture and smoothen. The 4th shade is basically pressed glitter and was the best choice to preserve the strong black line. To finish the look, pop a bright blush onto the apple of the cheeks.

The MAC Amberluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Palette is permanent at MAC, Nordstrom, and Macy's.
